Comme déjà annoncé il y a quelques jours, l’international camerounais Jérôme Ngom Mbekeli, qui était libre depuis janvier dernier, poursuivra sa carrière en Chine. Selon les informations de Hotpot Football, l’ailier gauche s’est engagé avec le Meizhou Hakka, club de première division chinoise.

L’officialisation devrait intervenir très bientôt. D’après la source, le joueur de 26 ans a déjà effectué ses débuts avec le Meizhou Hakka, lors d’un match amical contre Shaanxi Union le 10 février.
A noter que Mbekel a été formé à l’Apejes FC. L’ancien joueur du FC Sheriff est actuellement valorisé à 300 000 euros sur Transfermarkt. Cette saison, le natif de Yaoundé a joué 10 matchs toutes compétitions confondues, totalisant 195 minutes de jeu.
